Ingredients:
- 1 c. melted butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt.
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. black walnuts (opt.)
Directions:
Beat together butter, sugar and cocoa. Beat in eggs. Stir in dry ingredients, vanilla and nuts. Pour into greased jelly roll pan and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
Frosting:
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3. c. milk
- 1/4 c.butter
- 1 oz. chocolate square (bitter)
- Dash of salt
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute and remove from heat. Cool pan in ice water and do not stir while frosting is cooling. Beat to spreading consistency; frost brownies.
