This month's notes: October: Apples, hayrides, corn mazes, pumpkins and even pig races are upon us! Be sure to always call the farm before you go, some apple crops were affected by the late Spring frost. And be sure to can, freeze and even dry some of those veggies, (like tomatoes) for the winter: Check out my easy canning directions, and here are some great gift ideas, like canning equipment or ice cream makers for the chef in the family!
