When was the last time one of your students got to name a new species? That's the unbeleivable opportunity they have right now! Have your students enter the Project Gecko contest for this chance of a lifetime! What a better way to get kids excited about science than to have them pick a name that will be used for centuries to come?

What are the prizes? Prizes will be awarded to the top student and his or her teacher in each grade level. Plus, one of the three grade winners will be chosen as the Grand Prize winner. The Grand Prize student winner and his or her teacher will receive the Grand Prize Package.

Three Individual Grade Winners (one for each grade level) will win:

Subscription to Reptiles magazine;
Zilla Reptile Kit;
Beginning Vivarium Systems™ Books; and
2 VIP Tickets to North American Reptile Breeders Conference & Tradeshow Shows.
Teachers of the Individual Grade Winners will receive a Zilla Reptile Kit; set of Tropical Fish Hobbyist reptile books; and a subscription to Reptiles magazine for each student in the winner’s class (limit 30 per teacher).

One Grand Prize Student Winner (in addition to the Individual Grade Winner prize above) will win:

a Family Trip for Four to Busch Gardens Africa in Tampa, FL; and
a $1,000 Savings Bond.
The Teacher of the Grand Prize Winner (in addition to the Teacher Individual Grade Winner prize above) will receive an IBM Laptop by Lenovo.
