Candy Pudding Cake
1 pkg. chocolate or yellow cake mix (9 oz)
3 Three Musketeers candy bars, thinly sliced
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup light corn syrup or honey
Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream, if desired.
Preheat oven to 350. Grease an 8" square pan. Prepare cake mix as pkg. directs. Pour into prepared pan. Arrange sliced candy evenly over cake batter. In small pan, mix water and corn syrup or honey. Heat just until bubbles appear around edge of pan. Pour over cake batter and candy. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out dry. Let stand 5 minutes. Serve out of pan while warm. Serve topped with whipped cream or ice cream if desired. Serves 8 to 9
